We pushed a new version of the site last night, which among other things, added claim and delete buttons to the Story Details screen:

Clicking claim will immediately reassign the story to yourself. If you already own the story, the button will be disabled. This functionality was already available from the board, but now it’s available from Story Details as well.

Clicking delete will permanently destroy the story and remove it from your project. This was one of the most-requested features since we launched. If you delete a story, it’s as if it never existed – all activity records are removed, and it no longer contributes to the performance metrics for your project. You should only delete a story to indicate that it never should have been created – to indicate that a story is complete, you should just move it to the Archive instead.
